When they want to ring you
One tap, from anywhere on the page.
The call button follows them the whole way down. No hunting for a number, no going back to Google.
For contractors
Twenty years building premium software, brought to local trades. I'll build yours first. Have a look, and if you don't want it you pay me nothing.
Keep it and it's $297 a month. Stop any month you like.
No setup fee. Nothing to sign. One shop per trade, per town.
20 years building premium software
For the last 20 years, I've been building websites and apps for big companies, and millions of users. All focused on the best user experience possible.
There are contractors like you in my own family, and I have seen what gets sold to them. So I am giving my expertise to local contractors, and you'll deal with me the whole way through. This only works if it earns money for you, which is exactly how it should be.
Most of them are quietly costing their owner work instead. There are three ways it happens.
Most people will not leave a message. They ring the next name on the list, and you never hear about it.
Old site, or no site, and they click the next result. That job was yours and you will never know it existed.
A price on its own is easy to say no to, so the replacement waits another winter and somebody else does it.
Not the cheapest. Not the best. The first one to answer. That's the whole game, and it's exactly what a page like this is built to win.
To get a page like that built properly, this is who you would normally have to hire, and what each of them would charge you.
A UX designer
Works out what your customers need to see, and what order to put it in so they actually ring you.
A web designer
Draws every screen, on a phone first, in your colours and not off a shelf.
A copywriter
Writes every line on the page. Plain talk, aimed at getting the phone to ring.
A developer
Codes the thing so it opens fast, works on every phone, and does not fall over.
Total
Then, to keep it live
$297/month
Hosting, the security padlock, backups, your web address, your Google listing kept right, a one page report every month, and any change you want at any time for nothing. Stop any month you like. It stays up while you're paying and the web address is yours either way.
Agencies that build these for trades normally charge somewhere between $3,000 and $10,000 a month, and most of them tie you in for a year. Have a look around and see for yourself.
Every bit of the page has one job: get somebody to ring you.
When they want to ring you
The call button follows them the whole way down. No hunting for a number, no going back to Google.
When it's a big job
They drag the slider themselves and watch the number drop. The job stops being a decision they put off.
When you can't get to the phone
Nine at night, up a ladder, on another job. They get a reply straight away and a slot in your diary.
When they are sizing you up
Your logo, your colours, your reviews. The two shops on this page are both mine and they look nothing alike.
Those two shops are made up, so I can show the work without putting a real customer's name on the internet. Yours would have your name and your own reviews on it.
Three steps, and you can walk away at any of them.
Your name, your trade, your colours, your real reviews. Takes me about a day and you have not spent anything.
Fifteen minutes, line by line. Change whatever you want. Don't want it at all? You pay nothing and I'll leave you be.
Then it's $297 a month. Stop any month you like, and the web address stays yours whatever happens.
Fair question. Three straight answers.
You have probably been promised a great website before and ended up with a page nobody rings. So I'm not going to pitch you. I'll build it, you look at the actual thing, and you decide from there.
Most of the money in this trade is made up front, which means a fella can sell you a site, take the cheque and stop caring. I take nothing to build it. I only earn while you're happy to keep it, so it has to keep working.
There are plumbers and electricians in my family, and I have seen what gets sold to them. Things they did not need, priced like they would not know the difference. I know exactly what this work is worth, and I would rather it went to people like them.
That's the only thing I need to make a start. I'll build it, send you a link, and you tell me straight whether it's any good. Costs you nothing either way, and there's nothing to sign.
